Community engagement is key to successful student learning. The Partners in Education (PIE) program helps partner our school with local businesses through volunteering and supporting student activities. It's a partnership designed to cultivate positive relationships with the community by giving businesses the opportunity to connect with learning and education in their area. The partnership(s) at South Bay Elementary help support activities by providing guest speakers, volunteers, materials, and more. Local businesses all have something different to offer education, and we try to take advantage of those strengths to give the students the resources and support they need to succeed.
